Presenting on of HK best bassists. As well as being a bassist and composer, Rickard has also participated in the academic arena as a music educator. At 23, he was the youngest teacher at the University of Costa Rica. He has also held music workshops all over the world as endorse and representative for Warwick Basses and Amps. Rickard have during the years been blessed to play with a remarkable array of artists, such Larry Coryell, Torsten Goods, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Steve Cardenas, John Stowal, Scott Henderson, Sheryl Bailey, Mordy Ferber, Bob Moses, Roy Hargrove, Quinsin Nachoff, Joe Diorio, Manolo Bedrena, Nils Landgren and fellow bassist as Jeff Berlin, Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, Stuart Hamm, Jack Bruce, Jamaladeen Tacuna and Gary Willis. Rickard is currently residing in Hong Kong where he constantly arrange and compose new music for his various projects and performs in all of the city?s major jazz venues, with Hong Kong,s finest musicians, as well as with stellar musicians
