Violinist Doris

About

Doris began the music education from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.(Major violin).In 2005,she received the Professional diploma She studied violin with Professor Fan Ting , professor Micheal ma. She also studied conducting with Mr. Alan Cumberland ,also got a Scholarship given by the Society of HKAPA during her Studies .She got LTCL of the Trinity Gulidhall. She was enthusiastic in performances, In 2002 summer, she studied violin techniques with Ms. Yu Li Na at Shanghai Music Conservatory. In 2009 summer, She joined the music festival in Vienna (Internationale Sommerakademie) under the tutelage of professor Eszter Perényi & Hagai Shaham . In 2010 summer, she performed in New York Carneige Hall with her Trio. She also played in the Musical PETER PAN, she joined the musical Asian tour to manila and Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in 2007 as a solo violinist. In 2008 , she participated in the musical AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 days . She has played in many Pop concerts,Eason chan concert,Amei Chang , S.H.E ,Hacken Lee, Alan tam & Ivana wong concert. She also had performed in some gigs with brand , such as Chanel, Mont Blanc, YSL,Frank Muller, La Mer, BMW, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin etc. Doris is the string coach of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra & the conductor of St Paul catholic school orchestra, Hong lok yuen international school & Maryknoll convent school
